I will soon be putting my 1986 Cal 33-2 up for sale. Hip replacements and a herniated disc have messed up my balance to the point where I am not, and have not been for a while, comfortable moving around on the boat.
ShortWave is currently lying Melbourne Yacht Club, Melbourne FL. I am replacing the main cabin overhead panels due to a now repaired mast boot leak and will be having a bottom job done once the cabin is squared away. Once she is again ship shape, I will post a link to some pictures. She had a new prop shaft and cutless bearing a few years ago. Her sails are old but serviceable and include a North Main, North 150, North 105 and a North Gennaker. Also included is a 12’(?) Achilles inflatable and a 6 HP Evinrude outboard for it.
I have held onto her longer than I should, but I have to face the reality that I can’t use her as she deserves.
