repairing some soft spots on my 2-29 foredeck and in preparation I've just taken off all the furniture to find my pulpit is severely in need of replacing.

Has any one replaced theirs or know where I might get one?

I've heard good things about Tops in Quality, but no personal experience. The're located in Marysville Mi.

I have a bow pulpit and stern rail from a 1978 CAL 2-27, located in CT, if that helps. Joe

Thanks Joe but I managed to get the arm welded back on so I hope we're good now.

The hull number on a 71 should be on the inside of the transom on the starboard side. If you open the starboard lazarette and stick your head down in there look towards the stern you should be able to see it. Some people have found it on the bottom of their drawers in the galley. In 71 your boat will only have its Hull number. They didn't start putting the full codes until later. Then it would be stamped on the outside of the starboard transom. There should be a key to decipher the codes in the archives on this site.
