Any advice about compass repair firms?
I have an old (about 1970) Weems & Plath hand bearing compass.
It's made in Japan, modeled on others at the time with a flat card and a
prism for aligning the sight and taking the bearing. The fluid is
alcohol and water. It has a flashlight-style handle. It seems to have a pivot issue, probably from
bouncing around in the boat all these years.
