At least one sailor in Michigan is jealous! Nice photos.

Right now we're waiting for freeze-up, which (a) protects us from seasonal storms during our high-water phase in the Great Lakes, and (b) raises the possibility of iceboating. Last Sat. I was out in the marina boat barn applying remover to old varnish at 26 degrees. Modern remover is so safe that it doesn't harm varnish, but for some reason it started working in the the cold. It would be more fun to be out sailing.
