My daughter introduced me to this new wine from Paso Robles. She knew I would love it. The big surprise was the shape of the bottle. Finally a wine that is shaped properly to be aboard the boat. No more pouring wine into the the boat's decanter.

That’s a beautiful bottle! How is your boat doing in this crazy wind we are having? LAX is showing over 40 knots.

Yes it's blowing 35 in the harbor. No worries, we batten down the boat substantially more than most people when we leave it for any period of time. We take off all the sheets, Main and jib blocks and the wheel. We have a jib sock instead of just leaving the jib exposed and roller furled. It's always so sad to see so many boats lose their furled jibs in a big blow. After a big storm it's like a ghost Fleet with all the tattered sails.

Well it must not have been blowing that hard. Only two boats lost their jibs.
