The 33-2 is a beautiful boat. Who was the boat designer? My recollection is that it was one of the few Cal boats not designed by Bill Lapworth. Post more pictures!

That photo looks like my last summer on the Great Lakes: either sitting with no wind and glassy sea (and lots of annoying power boat wakes to knock the tiny breezes out of the sails), or way too much.

I believe the boat was designed by the Hunt Brothers but was approved by Lapworth before production began. I bought mine in December 1985 as a 1986 model.
