Water circulation problem licked

Well I'm a happy sailor again. I was having a problem with over heating on my Bukh 20hp diesel so decided to strip down my cooling system and had it cleaned and pressure tested. Today I reinstalled my exhaust manifold and thermostat housing, thermostat, replaced all the water hoses and gaskets, then it was time to fire up the motor. I immediately started smiling, there was substantially more water coming out the exhaust than there was before. It seems there was a blockage in the exhaust manifold which was cleaned out while in the acid bath, guess I should expect a little blockage considering the motor is a 1985.
