Mold Response (Chris): was Lapworths
Chris, it is rather straightforward.
Mildew will make a grown man cry.
Mold will make a crying man groan.

OK, Cal sailors, what's the difference between mold and mildew? In my
mind, "mildew" is what I have below in my boats, and "mold" is the stuff
that scares timid people. I have potential clients calling me all the
time, trying to avoid eviction by asserting "there is black mold all
over the apartment." "Black mold" is a current phobia, it seems.
That's why my boats have mildew below. So what's the difference?
