Hi Nick, I changed out my old Martec 12/10 to a 13/10 and wish I had gone to a 13/13. The 12/10 works ok but I feel the Universal 5411 is not working very hard and would benefit from a little more pitch. With the 12/10, I go about 5.5 knots. if I give it more throttle, the revs go up but the boat does not go any faster, so I throttle back down so as to save engine life. Personally I would pass on a 12/9. Daniel Casey "Air Time" Cal 9.2R #75 Santa Barbara, Ca.

Dan, Thanks for the input. The one I am looking at is a 13 / 9 so a little better. Wondering, did you change out from a fixed prop ? I am concerned with the shaft end and length. I am hoping to fit it directly without any machining. Please advise, Thanks, Nick From: ai… [at] aol.com Hi Nick, I changed out my old Martec 12/10 to a 13/10 and wish I had gone to a 13/13.
