We use System 3, which is 1:1, and thus seems to be much more tolerant of
small variations than West. I also tend to mix *BIG* batches, and that
helps. <g>
Scott, I'd be inclined to put another coat on top. My (possibly faulty)
reasoning is that the catalyst in the new batch will help cure the soft top
layer. If the current coat doesn't set up after a few days (which is what
worked for me when I had this problem in the past), I'd be tempted to do a
test corner with a new coat and see what happens.

And also Rake, which has formulations that go off at 1:1. I think our much
esteemed and sorely missed Cal List Guru (Brian Cleverly) was using System
Three, which also has different ratios available for ease of use.

That sounds like an excellent idea. I can scrape most of the old layer off
with a putty knife (it comes off like King Syrup). I'll give this a try.
The worst that can happen is that I end up having more to scrape off.
