Rebuiling Cal T/2 27 - Looking for information

Hello All, I am in the process of rebuilding a Cal T/2 27 1973. Any information related to rudder, rigging, hull's structure, keel bolt would be very helpful. A copy of owner's manual would be great!. Very interested in knowing about any problems you may know about this particular model. Thanks! Gunter

Welcome to the group. Once upon a time, in a different venue, someone made a "text" version copy of the C-27 T-2 manual availabe at ftp://ftp.sailjazz.com/cal/manuals . I've also put the Cal 9.2 manual in the same directory - with pics - and a number of the 9.2 pages were applicable to a number of the similar sized Cals of the time. Hope that this helps. Ron - Thanks for the kind words - a little misplaced/overstated in my case (other than the attempt to help), but appreciated nonetheless. A suggestion on the manual - look up the Cal 28's in the database, there are about 4 boats close in age to yours where the owners have been "recent" contributors to the previous groups. Use the home port column as a guide - if there is a home port then they have probably sent an email or two in the past year. Search the archives of the previous sailnet.net and sailjazz.com groups as well as this group - and locate their email addresses and then send them a quick email. This was actually one of the techniques that I used to add to the "Hull List".
