Mast Rake for Cal 2-29

Does anyone have the rigging specifications for the ideal amount of mast rake before using adjustable backstay? With backstay eased, Should the mast rake some toward the bow? I was told that the rake could be dialed in by using a plumb attached to the halyard. This would indicate how many inches of fore or aft rake. Are any of you in San Pedro racing tomorrow out of CBYC? Sure could use some competition, there were only three boats two weeks ago! Mark Cal 2-29 Pelican
