Hi mike, Catalina and home movies sound wonderful, but I am not sure memorial day weekend would be the best time. It will probably be very crowded. Maybe we should try to re-ignite the flame for a CCCCC. There is a full moon the weekend of May 12-14. In our experience of cruising Santa Cruz Island we have grown to love full moon trips. It's been in the water since last July but the interior is still a work in progress. I will be able to tell if I can get it together by then in a month. I agree that Memorial Day is not great. I'm trying to teach myself a software program that edits home movies and transfers them to DVD. I have a DVD of the Transpac movie and might get some of the other stuff organized by summer. I do have a DVD player intended for the boat. Of course, restoring a boat and learning a new complex program do not go together well.
