Bruce, I concur with Charlie's assessmement. The original documentation for our Cal 29 was a small stack of mimeographed pages. I scanned them and posted them once on the Cal archives, but I don't know if they're still posted anywhere. I'd be happy to email the information to you if you want it. General question: who has the Cal archives now that the Cal List Web site has gone away? Are they still posted on Sailnet somewhere? I'd be willing to chip in toward getting a new domain registration and site hosting fee if someone wants to help make that happen again. We had a pretty interesting and useful collection of shared wisdom and experience, and it would be a shame to lose it. Thanks to all. I visited the Sail Jazz site and downloaded everything they had! I already own two domains. I will be happy to upload and preserve whatever anyone wants to share. I published over 500 web pages since 1997. I created one for the Cal 28 one night after buying my boat. I could easily do one for Cals in general. Everyone could send me photos of their boats and I could make everyone a separate page for their own boat. It might take bit of time, but I have a hard time sleeping these days anyway. Now that I own a Cal, I doubt I will ever sell her.
