We used the Scotch "green" tape. It's plastic and pretty expensive, but it sealed really well and gave us a sharp line. (And no matter what tape you use, take it off just as soon as you're finished painting.) Alfred Poor 1969 Cal 29 #132, "Pentaquod" Scott, Just curious...what did you use to take the edges?? The 3M Blue masking tape doesn't seem to have a very fine edge. tkx, Bill '88 Cal 33-2, Tupelo Honey
