Interior wood

Ive heard that the bulkheads on C25s were marine ply with mahogany veneer. I was removing trim from the interior which appears to be teak or solid mahogany. Which is it? It is all bare wood right now that looks like the previous owner applied teak oil to. My goal is to apply Bristol to every piece of wood on the boat. How should I go about degreasing/deoiling the mahogany? Ive heard that it is a bad idea to use teak cleaner on mahogany and it also would be impractical to rinse the interrior with water to remove the cleaner.
Thanks
