Sorry if this becomes a double post. I think I didn't send the original. I need to replace the Flex Coupler on my 1974 Cal 2-29. Its a 3" coupler but I can't find one like the one that's on the boat. Anyone know where to find one? Ed Hall Cal 2-29 Amantes --------------------------

Federal Flex Couplings and Drivesaver have several in many different sizes. By 3" flex coupler you mean the one between the prop shaft and the transmission, they're about $300 from PRP. If you're running the Farymann, be sure to check the bushings on the transmission and replace those if needed (abt $51 @ PRP), or youi'll just be replacing the coupling again. You'll also want to make sure that the flanges on the tranny and prop shaft are clean and free of rust, or you'll just be replacing the coupler again about three years later.... --- In Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com, "Hall, Edward C \(GE Indust, Plastics\)" <edward1.hall@...> wrote: > > Sorry if this becomes a double post.
