I have an easier solution, buy a Cal 2-30, which doesn't have this problem. Of course I happen to have one for sale at only $7,450.00 it is a steal for a 30 foot sailboat. My Cal is hull #143 with no beam problems and a fresh water boat. If you want more particulars please post on the list. I do not want to post my email any more because someone is data mining off this or other lists and I am drowning in medical etc. emails. I get up to 30 unwanted emails every day, are the rest of you having the same problem? It seemed to start after we changed to Yahoo or maybe the new SailNet list? John with one boat too many. Re: [Cal_Boats] CAL 2-29 cockpit water / Spam (John)

John - I get about 20-25 spam-mails a day on my yahoo account, more on my comcast account. I don't even track on my work account. This is roughly the same or less than I had before joining either the sailnet group, the sailjazz and the final migration here to yahoo. Spammers catch your email address in a number of ways - one of which is the more mail you send from that email address, the more likely it winds up on a spammers list of addresses. Get good anti-spam protection and then everything that slips through - report it as spam so that the spam fighters can continually update the spam signatures database that is used to fight spam. The spammers will almost always be slightly ahead of the spam-fighters, but hopefully the gap will be small. What problem? We were discussing the built in aqua-knot-meter designed into every Cal 29 and then you changed the subject to some kind of a problem? What do you mean? he he he The 2-30 is a gorgeous boat, by the way. All the wonderful lines of the 29 plus the reverse transom. Nice boats. I have a friend in Seattle who is boat shopping and would love to hear about your boat but for the transportation costs....
