In outfitting Fairwinds 1988 Cal 33 to a cruising boat for our Caribbean trip The Orginial Cast Aluminum Stem Head Anchor Roller was difficult to use 2 anchors on so we had a New Stainless Double Staggered Anchor Roller Fabricated. The Rings at the End give a lot of strength ! We anchored out every day for 2 years so they came in handy! Check out the Photo Album below is the address http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/Cal_Boats/photos/browse/ad10

Made of 3/16 and 1/8 Stainless It had to Fab in 2 steps. 1st the Stem Head bottom Fitted and checked to the boats curved bow deck Then back to the Fab to build up rest of Anchor Roller. I'm very pleased how it turned out. The orginial aluminum Anchor Roller couldn't even hold 1 standard plow because it didn't keep the anchor tip away from the boat and could nick the Fiberglass.
