I wanted to drop the group a quick note that I have joined the Cal group. Just about 18 months ago I purchased a CAL 34; Finisterre located in King Harbor; Portofino Marina. Previously to the CAL, I owned a Columbia 26 MKII. The one thing I have struggled with, especially coming from the Columbia site and support group is finding this group. Getting information, background etc. on CAL's is not easy... I'm looking to this group to get input, assistance and provide input from my side as well. We use the boat often, crusing to the channel Islands, especially Catalina is a frequent occassion. needless to say, it is a great boat, lots of room, sails well and holds itself against the best.
