advice and possible assistance

Well, a good friend has done a Reggie. He has purchased a sailboat on Ebay. And, his timing is pretty bad since his wife is going in for knee surgery next week. And, he also lives in Montana. The boat is a 1980 Seidelmann 30. It is in the Los Angeles area at the moment. Yes, I'll probably have to go get it and bring it home for him. However, he may need to find a marina to haul the boat and put it into dry storage for a while. Any suggestions? The boat is in the water and could be motored/sailed to another location, perhaps as far north as Santa Barbara? Or, any good Cal list member need/want a boat to sail for a while in return for holding it for him? Perhaps someone who can't make sails in less than 2 1/2 weeks? To do another gathering? Anyone know of any available trailers for it down there which could be acquired? Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. Reggie
