Does anyone have a number for D & R or know if they have an on-line source? Thanks for the heads up, I really should have pulled all of mine many years ago also. My boat only has two shrouds attaching there: the cap shroud and upper-middle. My lower-fwd set go to separate chainplates on the deck (about 1.5' forward) and my lower-aft shrouds go to separate chainplates 1.5' aft of the double u-bolt. I pulled all of my u-bolts out a couple years ago and didn't see any corrosion/rust. As to replacing the u-bolts, I would think that a rigger in your area may know a good source. You might also want to try D&R Marine ( New Bedford , MA ) as they seem to have a lot of parts for Cal s and Odays. Rig-Rite might be another source. John, I didn't see your original message with download file. What is the attachment like on your 33 for the underside of the u-bolt and how is the tie rod anchored? On the Cal 35, there is an aluminum block on the underside of the deck that the u-bolt connects to. The tie rod has a flattened head that is held by the aluminum block. The other end of the tie rod goes to the flange or pan and is held with a threaded aluminum 1" diameter rod. I've had no luck in finding a duplicate for these u-bolts.
