Weather and Greetings

Here's hoping the rotten weather in the Carolinas left our friends there
OK (I know it has been pretty nasty around here in the Cheasapeake),
and...
Here's hoping that the PNW flooding left our friends there OK, and ...
Here's to safe travels for all on the road this weekend, and...
Here's to a Happy Thanksgiving for all.
(This is a neat time of year for all who actually like their relatives.)

Cheers

We are in Tucson, where it is 85 during the day and 44 at night. My wife's family all gather
here for holidays and her brother owns a sports club with a restaurant. The whole clan will
have dinner at in 5 a private restaurant setting. I like most of them although my wife, who
has a peculiar sense of humor, mentioned the night we got here that "Everybody will be at
our house in an hour" as we were shopping for food. I turned pale and she had a huge
laugh.
I like her family but, after we bought this house, it seemed that every weekend we spent
here was an excuse for everybody to party. I finally suggested very gently that we have a
few evenings by ourselves. It's been fun and I enjoy it so much I gave my son my SC-Notre
Dame tickets (40 yard line) and will watch the game from Tuson.
Have a great day everybody (and no, they weren't coming over in an hour).
