Somewhere along way I spotted a tool to measure stay pressure. Anyone
know where I can obtain one? Is there more than one kind? Ideas on
which to get appreciated.

We gradually tighten our backstay as the wind increases, and although
I've not measured it, we may be keeping a near-constant sag of about 6".
On the Cal-40, we may carry about 500 pounds of backstay pressure in 5
kts. and 1200 pounds in 10 kts. As the backstay is progressively
tightened, the mast is bent aft, progressively flattening the main,
another good thing.
