Cal 34 III shift cable

Hi All, The cable from the pedestal to the transmission is quite stiff. I've removed it from the engine side, still in trouble. Since it is almost 30 years old, I think I will replace it. Anyone have a part number for this? I could take it out, bring it somewhere and match it up, but it is all covered up for the winter. Any help appreciated. Carl Cal 34III NAUTA

Carl I think your best bet will be to remove the cable and take it over to a good Marine supply store. I just just replaced all of mine and they were all -33 something cables. The length is the difference. If you have a Nani transmission it's a much larger cable. Cables are sold in one inch increments Chuck 2-34 Second Fiddle Ventura Ca Carl <sa… [at] gmail.com> wrote: Hi All, The cable from the pedestal to the transmission is quite stiff. Hi, Easiest way is to wait until spring, take the old one off and take it to your local West Marine and match it up.
