Hi all, I have a 1986 Cal 33-2. Does anyone know who made the mast and boom for this boat? Thanks, Travis

Hey Travis Rig Rite was a major supplier for these vintage boats. The spars and booms were actually Isomat, and Rig rite is still a supplier. Garhauer supplied some of the blocks, it appears majority was Shaefer though. Thanks John, That helps a lot. I went to the RigRite site and found the ISOMAT masts. Looks like they have lots of parts for these sections. The mast on my boat has no exit plates at the halyard cutouts and no rivet holes as evidence where any plates were fastened to the mast. It was hard to believe that no exit plates were put on the mast. The RigRite site reveals the answer. Apparently many of the ISOMAT exit plates were plastic snap in plates which long since snapped out and disappeared. Yes. RigRite is the spot. I purchases several exit plates from them when Serendip was purchased. Apparently they had a fairly good sized fire there this past year and were recovering from that. They had an service answering all their calls while they were re-building. The part is NG1-7 if I remember correctly. I can double check if you need help. -JD s/v Serendipity 1989 Cal 33-2 Currently on the hard in Cambridge, MD getting refrigeration. JD, John, Thanks a bunch. Yes the exit plates are part number NG1-7 for the CAL 33-2 ISOMAT Mast. I called RigRite and they had them in stock at $10 each. I ordered five. Since all five "snap-in" plates have snapped out, I think I will glue these in.
