Hi, Don -- When I went through the Cal 40 drawings and notes with Bill about five years ago, we couldn't find many of his notes and calculations for the 40. The drawings themselves were seriously starting to yellow and fade. I am trying right now to locate the original sheets - more on that after the first of the year, as I'm waiting for a response from Mystic to see if they have them. If at all possible, I want to make sure that whatever is left of Bill's notes and calcs and drawing sheets are carefully preserved and are transferred to electronic media. I may need some help with this and will put out a request to the Cal 40 group and this list if I do. BTW are you going to do the Transpac again this year? All the best for a great Christmas and New Year. \Rog Cal 29+ #1 Swiss Navy Cal 2-30 #77 St. Lori's Comet _____ From: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com [mailto:Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of grinddon Sent: Friday, December 22, 2006 6:33 AM To: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com Subject: [Cal_Boats] Cal40 -- Constant of Proportionality "K" for calculation of leeway......
