Hi,
I am assembling a Flying Tiger 10 meter for this seasons races. It came as a boat in a box!
What a great experience!
All lights are LED.
I am surprised the nav station has a blue light. I gues I was raised with red lighting to protect the eyes at night.

This discussion on LED's led me (pun intended) to some questions. One of the website earlier stated that the light source should be the same color as the lens, e.g., a red LED for a red lens, etc. How does this work out for replacement bulbs, particularly of the festoon type?
Also, how many lumens do you need for legal running lights, and how do you tell how many lumens the LED will put out when connected to a 12 V source (i.e., what wattage will be used)?
