Lenny, If you do want to donate the boat keep Sea Base (Boy Scouts) in mind. What I was planning for the boat is when the land of cheap morgans come into Florida Bay I'd have my coral reef staff go out and race them each day and use the boat as a back up vessel when something breaks. I know it wouldn't be much of a race but 2 boats going in the same direction is all it takes. How much are you selling her for? I have a captain looking for a boat. Hope to hear from you, Capt Rich Florida Sea Base

Lenny, I've re-opened negotiations with my wife, Capt. Debbie. I'll let you know soon what her response is. Capt. Rich, I gave your name to the marina a couple of weeks ago, so you should have access to it if you decide to look at it. Speaking of Morgans, a few years ago, when I was living aboard my Cal, I invited a couple of friends from the marina to sail out to the Western Sambo reef to do some snorkeling. As soon as we were out the Boca Chica channel (Stock Island, Key West), I raised the sails and cut the engine. We were headed in the general vicinity of a buoy. My friend, the Morgan sailor, said "You'll have to go downwind of that. There's no way you can pass upwind." I knew the Cal's capabilities, so I went upwind with plenty of room to spare. I'm selling it in the 20s. Regards, Leonardo --- In Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com, richard beliveau <richbel@...> wrote: > > Lenny, > If you do want to donate the boat keep Sea Base (Boy Scouts) in mind.
