Picture of Cal 39 "Osprey"

I started a new albumn in the photos section of the website for yahoo groups (groups.yahoo.com/group/cal_boats) so I could post pics I snap of other cals on the bay. It's a shared albumn, so please all post any pics you may want to share of Cals romping on the bay. First snapshot in the albumn is from the sistership to mine, Cal 39 "Osprey". Is this Steve's boat? I couldn't quite hear his name, we stayed a couple boatlengths apart. Anyway, she's a beautiful boat. Bob, That's a great picture of Eric's boat. Our Osprey has the name written on the sides. I'd love to get s good action shot of our boat. Maybe we could have a Cal photo shoot on some windy summer day and take pictures of each others boats. I hope to cross paths with you on the bay someday. That's why I started that albumn. I'm going to try to shoot pics of any cal I get close to on the bay and post them there. btw, what are the odds that 2 cal 39's have the same name in the same locale? It's a great name too: my first boat was a Cal 27, named "Kestrel". I had considered sticking to birds of prey; I used to raise and train birds when I was young, and "Osprey" was on my short list of good boat names. But on the delivery trip from MDR up here, me and co-owner Steve wanted to pick a name based on something about the boat or trip.
