Regan, I'd suggest that you take an oil sample at your next oil change and have it analyzed (see site below). This can give you some insight into the condition of your engine 'innards' for only $25. My Universal 5432 has approx 3000 hrs. I get the oil analyzed every two years and, so far, all is fine. Practical Sailor has a number of articles on oil analysis if you want to learn more (you can purchase articles on line). I noted another on e-Bay available for $1500, allegedly with apx 360 hours from a skid steer loader.
