Subject: Cal 28 new owner
Hello Folks,
My wife and I purchased a 1968 Cal 28 (hull #336) this past
summer. We live in Hampton, VA but keep her at a marina in Gloucester,
VA. We are in the process of restoring her bit by bit. At the time of
purchase the boat was fully operational with sound standing and
running rigging . Sails are fair, overall hull condition very good but
with what is apparently a common characteristic of the old flat tops
....the top decking is beginning to delaminate. I'd appreciate any
ideas from anyone who may have tackled this particular fiberglass
challenge.
I'll shoot some photos along at some point.
