In Feb latitude 38 link: http://www.latitude38.com/classy/Clas200702/clas4050.htm CAL 40 SLOOP, 1965. #36, Terral. 40-hp diesel engine. Pretty boat in average condition. A little TLC and you've got a winner. Moored near Acapulco. Asking $17,500. mailto:do… [at] hotmail.com Thank you Bill Lapworth for creating the revolutionary Cal 40. Your Cal 40's just keep winning! Skipper Stan Honey & Cal 40 illusion wins 1994 TRANSPAC single-handed race. Skipper Charlie Guildner & Cal 40 Kismet wins 1996 VIC Maui race. Skipper Peter Rebovich & Cal 40 Sinn Fein wins 2006 Neuport-Bermuda race. America's Cup champion Dennis Connor is now racing Cal 40 Persperone - I predict more wins to come! Rest in peace Bill Lapworth. Your legacy lives on. Have fun Keith Cal 40 Kismet

Last night I was looking through some old /Yachting/ magazines. In a 1978 issue there was a report of the results of the Congressional Cup, sailed in Cal 40s. It looked like a dinghy flee, all those boats together. Our own list participant Fin Beven was listed as a crew member. Chris Campbell >
