Cal 29 haul out - hull #1008 & 1009
Okay, what are the chances of 2 Cal 29's, both being the rarer
cruiser's edition (3-29's) hull numbers 1008 and 1009 being hauled
consecutively Saturday morning, then placed right next to one another
in the marina yard? Kinda strange huh? Funny too, besides the regular
bottom paiting, both of us (who didn't know the other was hauling,
and don't know each other that well) are working on the same
things... replacing thru-hulls, pulling the props, and dropping the
rudders. Below are pictures of both boats and also 2 video clips of
them on the travel lift. Hey, if you can't watch boats sail, it's
still fun to look at them moving about on the hard.
