Snip Request
As one of those of us who read the daily Digest version of the email on this
list, I would like to remind you all to consider snipping any extraneous
verbiage at the bottom of your replies. Some of the recent threads have
long, long tails that we have to scroll through to find the next message.
For example, one message in today's batch has four lines of new content, but
four screens of old. (At about 50 lines per screen, I make that a signal to
noise ratio of about 2%.) Leave enough of the previous message(s) for
context, but consider lopping off the older parts from time to time.
Many thanks,
Alfred Poor
