Original CAL 30

I need to find any info and hopefully an owner of a 1960-1965 CAL 30. I'm not sure when they started making them, but mine is a 1965 and the CAL 2-30 came out shortly after that, I believe. Mine is also made by Jensen Marine. I had a rudder made for my boat, however, it was made to the CAL 2-30 specs...Fin keel, spade rudder. The orignal CAL 30 has a modified full keel with a barndoor type attached rudder. I cannot find any information on this model, I cannot find anybody who has an original 30...only the 2-30. If anyone has any leads for me, I would appreciate it. Jonathan

Jonathan, I have a Cal30 Hull # 98 1966. I beleive that they started the 2-30 after hull #100. I think the 2-30's started in 1967. I have the orginal manual that came with it and would be more than happy to make you a copy. I'm the 3rd owner and have owned "Nala Misha" for about 6 Years. I would be happy to share any info that I have.
