Re: T-2 Production years

My hull # is CAB T21680 374 While it makes sense to me that the boat is a 74 T2 hull 168 built in March of 1974, I will need some type of "official" document to prove to the DNR that this is the case. Which raises another question. Charlie mentioned that the last 4 digits of the Hull ID are the date and there may be 4 digits in the hull number but mine is laid out like so : CAB T21680 374. Soooo maybe I have 2 typos. The hull # on the title is listed as 168. Is it really 1680? The PO of the boat said he tried multiple times to have the date changed and it never worked. Any thoughts??

Tracey, they used 2 digits for model, so they only had 3 left for hull number. CAB - CAL Jensen T2 - Model 168 - Hull Number 0374 - March 1974 Manufacture A stencil of the stern pattern and a photo of stern number should be sufficient.
