Whale Bilgepump

Guys,
I need some help. I have an inop Whale Guzzler 400
bilgepump that I can get a kit to rebuild. The
problem is it is mounted through the side of the
starboard cockpit locker. It has a removable handle.
The boot that closes the opening around the shaft of
the handle is shot. I looked on Whale's website, no
help there. I called the US office and left a message
but didn't receive a call back. West and Defender
catalogs have nothing either. Whale doesn't even show
the Guzzler 400 as one with a detachable handle
anymore. Boat is 1972, so I'm not surprised. I have
a second pump in the engine comparment, but the one in
the cockpit is easier to use.
Any ideas?
Thx,
Dave Dobbs

Buy a new one.....that is what I did on my new boat. The unit was old and is an important part of my boat so it was a no brainer
Good luck
Greg
