It used to last me 4 years when I had a Catalina 30 in Long Beach. I spoke to the Pettit rep up here at the Sail Expo in April. He reported that the Trinidad SR works better up here but that it was no better than the standard Trinidad during test in So Cal waters. So the SR is probably not worth the extra cost down there.
