Hello Chris, I have a Cal 2-30 for sale that came from Lake Ontario and is now in the Hudson near Poughkeepsie. She is still on the hard so can be fully inspected, so come on down. We are empty nesters so we have room to put you up. The boat is from 1969 Hull # 143 with many improvements. If you or anyone else is interested I can send more details. I will help sail the boat to the Great Lsakes or anywhere on the Eastern Seaboard. I have a larger cruising boat so NEED to sell the Cal. Here is my situation. I am not in a position to buy a boat at this time as Im currently in planning mode for an extended voyage down to the Caribbean for a year or two on a friends 75 Ericson 35. As I want my own boat Im also reviewing and learning about suitable boats in my price range as I do plan to buy my own boat after spending some time on his. In short, I really like CAL's from what I have read and looked at but never had a chance to sail on and test out. When the time is right however I will buy my own boat and probably continue on with the voyage. At this time, there are several unkowns as to when and what. If you have the time and interest can you send me some pics and details of your boat and an indication of what price range you are wanting as I do have several friends who are also interested in older boats and always looking to upgrade if the right boat comes along.
