New North Sails on my Cal 29 sure makes it fast.

Hello fellow Cal owners. After 28 years we bought new sails for our
Cal 3-29. Boy oh boy, new sails really make a difference. Last
weekend we were out testing our new sails and came across my sailing
neighbor of 27 years. He's got a Catalina 30. I was towing a dinghy
and I just walked by him. I posted some pictures and 2 video clips
shot from both boats. Take a look at my posting here...

There's nothing better than sailing on a sunny day and finding your
friends on the water... catching up to them and exchanging some fun
words and some great photo opportunities. Below are a series of
pictures between both boats and 2 video clips between my boat -
Chaconne, a Cal 3-29 and Seanshine's Carnaby Street, a Catalina 30.
We've been boating neighbors for 27 years.

By the way... anyone interesting in buying my mainsail, 150 and 90.
They were made by Staff Sails in Bellingham Washinton in 1978. The
sails still have some life in them.

Hi Randy,
As a matter of fact, this is the first time I've had roller furling. The first time we unfurled the sail last weekend, my wife says to me "that's it... that's all we have to do?" So, to answer your question Randy, my old sails are hank ons.
