You are right there, Steve...once we start more serious cruising, beyond the 1 or 2 weeks coastal stuff we have been doing, it'll have to be a whole different ball game. There won't be towing, and we will definitely have to depend only on us. Of course, for long distance cruising, I suppose any kind of insurance on a boat is hard to come by...and you are pretty much covering your own butt in so many ways. If it were easy, as they say, everyone would want to do it. In our case, while we have it, I am very loath to use it except as a last resort when things start to get dangerous.
