CAL39- new to group

I have a 1979CAL39MKII with the so called shoal draft - close to 6 ft - more like 5,10". is not a wing keel just that the keel is just a bit longer than the standard 6ft8inches one - the boat is ok - I am not sure is one that will do well around the buoys in this configuration - but is very roomy inside - so good for cruising - as for downwind preformance - based on a couple of tough storms I have been part of - I will tell you that it does not surf like the CAL40 - the underwater lines are very different ____________________________________________________________________________________ Tonight's top picks.
