Well, maybe it's just me, but the reader just reads it without any feeling, infections, reflections, or seeming to know what the heck he's reading. Arrgghh, he sounds like a %$#@ sand crab! I'd much rather read it so I have time to reflect and imagine what Joshua is seeing before speeding to the next sentence.
