Hey, does anyone have an easy way to get off the barnacle bases after the boat has been pressur ewashed and scraped? Is there a neato secret or just hard work? Hard work, Marsh. Little suckers have attached into the glas. I think I mentioned the 1 inch wood chisel after the paint scraper. Make sure that you wear good gloves. Barnacle cuts can become infected very quickly. The only cure, I understand, is a complete high pressure washed down, paint scraping and judicious use of a finely honed one inch chisel wielded by a Navy Surgeon. As Quinine is to Malaria, Sturgeon eggs can be palliative, hence the expression, "Tale a bottle of Sturgeon Eggs, and Call me in the Morning".
