Wheeee my fun today.

Okay, so I had to go to Baltimore again today, so I actually left early... after playing "dickey-doo" at the office for an hour or two, and finding out that UPS lost our paychecks for up here, I went over to the boatyard and played for 4 hours ('til dark when it got butt-ass cold). Anyway, so I scraped barnacles. Oh joy. Wish I'd thought to bring a stool to sit on... I am too fat to be squatting like that :-0 Anyway, got a bunch done until I got cold and went and opened boat up and vegged out. Did I say I thought scraping barnacles sucked? And oh joy of joys... there is NO gelcoat under the old bottom paint (which pretty much just came right off where I worked on it). And I mean *Nada*! I am sure most of you have gone through this numerous before... just wanted to bring you some amusement. :-Þ So, next visit... stool, goggles, better gloves maybe some on and off stuff... this blows :-0 Just think, next year I get to sand the hull and paint IT as it's checked. Oh well, yard owner said it looks pretty good besides the crustys... Best, Marsh
