Fred, last year I did a similar search for some friends of mine. I did a search of sailing blogs and located someone with a blog that was moored three boats down from my friends in Whangerai (my spelling) NZ. So, 1-do a blog search, and B-Whangerai seems to be place where a lot of cruisers end up at, at some point in their travels. Good luck. Steve C. I heard rumors they made it as far as Austrailia in their Cal 2-27. I was searching through old 35mm slide photos from that time and discovered pictures from the day they departed and thought they would be of special value to them as I was the only one ther with a camera..
