David Dobbs reported: >I have a 1972 vintage 29 with aluminium spreaders and I know of no other 29 with aluminium. Mine appear to be original. I love em, just slap them on the bracket, put the pin in and you're done. Pentaquod (hull #132) also has aluminum spreaders. ("Had aluminum spreaders"? I don't know what tense to use now that it belongs to someone else.) As far as know, they were original equipment. Alfred

My 75 Cal 2-27 had aluminum spreaders as well. No evidence of work on the mast at the spreader attachements. My guess is they were original. td From: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com [mailto:Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of Alfred Poor Sent: Monday, January 21, 2008 8:07 AM To: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com Subject: [Cal_Boats] Re: Spreaders David Dobbs reported: >I have a 1972 vintage 29 with aluminium spreaders and I know of no other 29 with aluminium.
