Bangor Punta - Cal Web Site Appears Gone
Bruce Stirling2008-02-12 18:49
I just tried the link to all of the Cal Boat models once posted on the
Bangor Punta web site. It is gone. Looks like the site is for sale.
Hope you all downloaded all of the information once stored there about
the different Cal Boats!

If you do it quickly and you have the URLs or at least one URL the data should
be available via google cache of that page. But it wont be there forever.

If not on Google, you can try the Wayback Engine.

Actually, I think I downloaded the whole site one day. I'll have to
double check my growing collection of Cal materials.
Heads-up, though. I also downloaded several other Cal resources found
online, just in case.
I suggest everyone who loves their Cals do their own backup. Just in
case.
I am always looking for more Cal 28 raised deck information. Feel
free to zap it to me at bruce @ stirlinglaw.com [remove spaces]. I am
happy to give credit online for all submitted materials.

My quick search reveals I have the photos and images from the pages,
but not the text of each page. I will put them up later and send out
a link to them. They consist of the smaller ad photos.

Can the Wayback engine let me go back about 40 years so I can live my life over and do it right this time? Plus, I could make a killing in the stock market.

index pages with links back to the original which of course does not exist
anymore. Anyone else have better luck.
