So Cal Weather

I can't believe this! We had over a week of 70 and 80 degree weather. I finally got a chance to take the afternoon off to take my boat out to get some sailing in the sun and the temp dropped 25 degrees and we have a marine layer so thick it is foggy and freezing out there. The rest of the week it looks like Santa Anna's. Hopefully Saturday or Sunday I can go look for whales. Hey Randy, Happy Hunting! Yes, after a warm streak of sunny Spring like days in so. cal., the fog blew in Tuesday evening and has settled in cold and thick and damp. Thar she blows!!! So it seems that Moby Dick wasn't much of a novel, in the sense that our English teachers tried to teach it, there was a whaling ship, the Enterprise, rammed and sunk by a sperm whale, just a few of her crew survived to tell the tale; and off the coast of Chile was a white sperm whale, stuck with harpoons, that went after whalers with the intent to sink their boats and to kill them, but at the same time was gentle to non-whalers! Truth is stranger than fiction! Allegory my foot. What arrogance man has towards its fellow earthlings! Aaarrghhh!
